Remove Set of important folders

Operating System windows 98 /2000 /XP / 2003
Category System

Disable whole set of folder, which contains Control Panel, Printers, and Network and Dial-up Connections. This tweak will removes the Control Panel, Printers, and Network and Dial-up Connections folders from the Settings menu on the Start menu, and from My Computer and Windows Explorer. It also prevents the programs represented by these folders (such as Control.exe) from running.

registry repair

Steps for applying this Tweak

  • Open your Registry
  • Go to one of the following location

    • For changes to occur for current user
      • HK EY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer

    • For change to occur for all users
      • HK EY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer

  • Create or Modify if exists Dword value called "NoSetFolders"
  • set value as 0 to disable Or 1 to Enable this Tweak.
  • restart windows or logout for setting to take effect.
