The option page in windows media player has many Tabs. This tweak will let you hide Networking tab. The default network settings are used unless the user has previously defined network settings for the Player.
 Operating System Windows 2000 / XP / 2003
Steps for applying this Tweak
- Open your registry
- Go to HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaPlayer
- create or modify dword value called "HideNetworkTab"
- set value as 0 to disable and 1 to enable this tweak.
- restart windows media player for setting to take effect.
