Prevents radio station presets from being retrieved from the Internet This tweak prevents the Player from automatically retrieving radio station presets from the Internet and displaying them in Media Library. In addition, presets that exist before the policy is configured will not be updated, and presets a user adds will not be displayed.
 Operating System Windows 2000 / XP / 2003
Steps for applying this Tweak
- Open your registry
- Go to HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaPlayer
- create or modify dword value called "PreventRadioPresetsRetrieval"
- set value as 0 to disable and 1 to enable this tweak.
- restart windows media player for setting to take effect.
