Category Desktop

This tweak will enforce classic shell and hence disable recent features like Active Desktop, Web view, and thumbnail views. Also, users cannot configure their system to open items by single-clicking (such as in Mouse in Control Panel). As a result, the user interface looks and operates like the interface for Windows NT 4.0 and users cannot restore the new features.

Steps for applying this Tweak

• Open your Registry
• Go to one of the following location
• For changes to occur for current user
• HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer
• For change to occur for all users
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer
• Create or Modify if exists Dword value called "ClassicShell"
• Set value as 0 to disable Or 1 to Enable this policy.
• Restart or logout windows for setting to take effect.
