Prevents users from changing the visual style of the windows and buttons displayed on their screens. When enabled, this tweak disables the "Windows and buttons" drop-down list on the Appearance tab in Display Properties.
Steps for applying this Tweak
- open your registry
- Go to one of the following location
- for changes to occur for current user
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\System
- For changes to occur for all users
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\System
- create or modify dword value called "NoVisualStyleChoice"
- Set its value to 0 for disable or 1 to enable this tweak.
- restart window for setting to take effects
