Remove the Toolbars on the Taskbar

Toolbar on taskbar are individual bands which have different functionality like quick launch which consists various shortcuts, Address bar on the the taskbar is another example of toolbar. User can also creates its own toolbar some time it is undesirable to have a custom toolbar. This tweak will not allow user to add any custom toolbars to the taskbar. Moreover, the "Toolbars" menu command and submenu are removed from the context menu. The taskbar displays only the Start button, taskbar buttons, the notification area, and the system clock.

Steps for applying this Tweak

• Open your Registry

• Go to one of the following location

  • For changes to occur for current user
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer

  • For change to occur for all users
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer

• Create or Modify if exists Dword value called "NoToolbarsOnTaskbar"
• set value as 0 to disable Or 1 to Enable this Tweak.
• restart windows or logout for setting to take effect.
