when computer is booting and if some device is not functional then you get an pop-up saying that device is not working properly. sometime this pop-up could be annoying this tweak will allow you to disable this feature.
 Operating System Windows 2000 / XP / 2003
- open your registry
- go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows
- create a new dword value by the name of 'NoPopupsOnBoot'
- Set the value as 1 to disable pop-ups and 0 to Enable pop ups
- restart windows for setting to take effect
