My Document folder's shortcut is present in start menu under "documents" link. This tweak will allow you to Remove My documents link from start menu.
Steps for applying this Tweak
- Open your Registry
- Go to one of the following
- For change to occur for current user
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer
- For change to occur for all users on local machine
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer
- create or modify if exists a dword value called "NoSMMyDocs"
- set data of the value as 0 to show or 1 to remove
- restart or logout for setting to take effects
