This setting effects the notification area, also called the "system tray". The notification area is located in the task bar, generally at the bottom of the screen, and it includes the clock and current notifications. This setting determines whether the items are always expanded or always collapsed. By default, notifications are collapsed. The notification cleanup << icon can be referred to as the "notification chevron.". This tweak will the expands system notification area to show all of the notifications that use this area.
Steps for applying this Tweak
- Open your Registry
- Go to one of the following location
- For changes to occur for current user
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer
- For change to occur for all users
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Policies\Explorer
- Create or Modify if exists Dword value called "NoAutoTrayNotify"
- set value as 0 to disable Or 1 to Enable this Tweak.
- restart windows or logout for setting to take effect.
