Automatic logon for administrator

Operating system windows 2000 / XP / 2003
category security

This tweak Determines whether the automatic logon feature is enabled. Automatic logon uses the domain, user name, and password stored in the registry to log you on to the computer when the system starts. The Log On to Windows dialog box is not displayed.

Because automatic logon proceeds in a different order than an authenticated logon, it can cause timing conflicts. If you are loading several network transport protocols, automatic logon might cause Windows 2000 to attempt to connect to network resources before the protocols network transports are completely loaded.
